- The Software-Defined Vehicle requires a new approach that is highly collaborative and requires alignment across the automotive industry.
- This new approach requires collaborative bodies like AUTOSAR to better align their development and outputs. Thus, the SDV Alliance, with its four active workstreams, has been launched to address this growing need to align.
- AUTOSAR is shifting its approach, as a founding member, to work closely with other bodies including COVESA, Eclipse SDV, and SOAFEE.
