Markus Fischer studied Computational High Energy Physics in Bielefeld University to learn about what makes the world tick, and after graduation moved into the automotive industry with the goal of contributing to the digital transformation of the world's very first car company - Mercedes Benz. He has filled multiple positions at Mercedes, always focusing on his mainstay Embedded System/Solution Architecture with a side dish of Project Management and some sprinkling of Embedded Security Engineering. His biggest achievement is the conception and development of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Classes' app support which was launched successfully and to critical acclaim, last year.
