Michael D. Horani, Director Advanced Cockpit Systems, Mitsubishi Electric
Michael Horani is the director of advanced development, at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America Inc. (MEAA). He leads a team of highly creative and technical individuals and represents the voice of front-end development. He manages the research and development activities leading to new and improved technologies necessary to advance the new product development pipeline. Michael has worked in the automotive and telecommunications industry for 15 years. He held a variety of roles and responsibilities in testing/ validation, system engineering, and sales.
He joined MEAA in 2015 and has an extensive experience in connectivity/ automotive computing, algorithm designs, testing and validation, and technology-based design. Michael holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Aleppo, and a Master of Engineering in electrical and computer engineering, in autonomous robotics navigation systems, from the University of Detroit Mercy.
