Chandrasekar Krishnamurthy is the global leader of the Systems, Software,Engineering Excellence, Safety & Security, HV Box Product line and Platform Engineering organizations within BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems. In this position, he is globally responsible for the teams located in thirteen locations across North America, Europe, and Asia since he joined the company
in August 2020.

With over twenty years of experience within the automotive industry including at companies such as Siemens Automotive, Continental, and HELLA Electronics Corporation, Krishnamurthy led the integration of the systems and software teams after BorgWarner’s acquisition of Delphi Technologies. In addition, he founded the new Engineering Excellence, Safety and Security
organization and established the Propulsion Engineering Center in India.

Krishnamurthy holds a Master’s degree in Sensor Systems Technology from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Germany and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. Krishnamurthy is active in the automotive industry as a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers (IEEE).
