Simon C. Morris is a serial tech entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience leading 3 venture backed deep tech start-ups from seed stage to commercialization, production wins and significant exits to shareholders. He started his tech career at Texas Instruments (TI) in Dallas and later Nice, France leading the development of TI’s first 3G base station chipsets winning 9 of 10 of the major wireless telecom manufacturers. After TI the three tech start-ups he led developed breakthrough embedded multimedia, image and computer vision processing technologies adopted by some of the leading mobile phone OEMs and automotive OEMs (VW, Hyundai Motors, Mercedes-Benz etc..) with his last 2 start-ups exiting in automotive. He is currently Executive Advisor to multiple tech start-ups globally as well as on the Board of Directors for both private and public tech companies. He is a mentor with the Creative Destruction Lab in Montreal, L-Spark Accelerator, Executive Advisor to Connected Vision Advisors (i-banker) and a LP with Mistral Venture Partners.

Simon holds M.Eng and B.Eng degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada, is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and was awarded Canadian Forces Decoration while serving in the Royal Canadian Navy.
