Chris Olzem is the Mobility Innovations Coordinator for Oakland County Michigan. 

In his role, Chris engages domestic and international mobility firms with a goal of facilitating investment, job creation and research and development activities in Oakland County. This work has included engagement with relevant stakeholders, identifying mobility pilot opportunities, facilitating the planning and deployment of alternative fuels for public use, and collaborating on the development and promotion of county vehicle test facilities. Additionally, Chris is part of a three-person team tasked with the planning, funding, and deployment of alternative fuel systems such as electric vehicle chargers for passenger vehicles and hydrogen fueling stations for heavy trucks and buses.  Prior to his current role, Chris worked for Oakland County as a Senior Business Development Representative where he engaged with high tech companies providing financial analyses, developing cashflow projections, and identifying funding opportunities, in addition to outreach for business retention and attraction purposes.
