As Director – Business Development for AT&T’s Connected Car program, Ashton is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting new & innovative solutions for the connected car ecosystem and managing connectivity relationships with automotive OEMs.  Ashton has over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and joined AT&T’s IoT team in 2013 to support the initial launches of AT&T’s retail Connected Car Data Plans.  Ashton has supervised both domestic and international launches of automotive connectivity for a variety of OEM customers.   

In addition, Ashton led the development effort of WarnerBrothers Discovery RIDE, the first entertainment service designed for the connected car passenger experience and bundled into a network operator’s service offering.  One of Ashton’s key focus areas is also new channels of distribution for AT&T Connected Car data plans, primarily via embedded infotainment systems. 

Ashton is based in Atlanta and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University.
