Bharath Ram is a business solution strategist, representing Pure’s Strategic Pursuit Practice team for Americas, with a mandate to unlock the transformational business value of modern data infrastructure for the automotive vertical. He works closely with Pure’s top automotive customers and the wider ecosystem, assisting account teams in articulating the relevance and value of Pure’s modern data platforms in helping drive technology transformation to the software defined vehicle.

Bharath brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software, product/platform engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, connected devices and storage systems. He held prior positions at multiple public companies, including Verisign Inc, Symantec Corp (Enterprise Security business acquired by Broadcom),  RSA Security,  IBM Corporation, LSI Corporation (now part of Broadcom) and Genesis Microchip (acquired by ST Microelectronics). Bharath was also part of several high-growth, privately-held startups, including VM Labs (acquired by Genesis Microchip), InMage Systems (acquired by Microsoft) and Axiom Consulting Americas. Additionally, he has served on the board of Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Silicon Valley and contributed to other non-profit organizations such as Keizai Society of Northern California, ACG Silicon Valley and Venture Camp.

Bharath holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (India), a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu alongside a concurrent Advanced Diploma in Japanese Language Studies and Cross Cultural Management from the Japan America Institute of Management Sciences (JAIMS) in Honolulu, Hawaii.
