Frank Weith is the NAR Engineering Director for Connected and Mobility Services at Volkswagen Group of America and has been with VW for 17 years.  He is also the President of Ventic LLC, a newly formed joint venture company between VW and Aeris.  He is responsible for defining strategies, in-vehicle technologies, IT infrastructure, business partnerships to support the customer experience and business initiatives, and operations.  His role also manages the North American Market requirements for services and features, and identifying future technologies and partnerships needed to support new technologies, business models and revenue opportunities. 

Throughout his 33 year career, he has also spent 11 years working in Germany for Siemens AG, BMW AG and founded a Technical Development Center for American Axle Europe.   His collective experience ranges from Management Consulting, Product Development and Manufacturing Engineering for Components and Vehicle Systems, Product Strategy, and Business Development.  He’s a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, which also included a foreign exchange program affiliated with the Technical University in Aachen, Germany.
